Candy

Candy is currently in a foster home which seems to be a very happy and content home full of sighthounds 🥰 Update from Candy’s fosterers below

‘Candy is a sweetheart. She collects things (slippers/shoes/clothes etc)and takes them to her bed.

Candy is very strong on the lead but improving daily. She gets very excited and spins around when she sees another dog but we are working on this with her.

She loves to run in the dog field at Charmouth and is incredibly fast. June tries to keep up with her and Tinkerbell watches her with disbelief!

She has separation anxiety if we leave the room or go in the garden and we haven’t left her alone yet.

She isn’t a good traveller but we are taking her with us everywhere to get her used to the car and she is improving.

Candy is clean in the house with just a couple of stress wees the first week. Sleeps well and gets up at 6am when she needs to go out. She loves her food but we feed her separately as she can try to steal others food. She counter surfs and anything edible or not nailed down at the height of 1 metre and below is considered hers and taken to her bed!

Overall, a very affectionate, playful and very funny girl!’
