St Giles Bike Ride

Sunday 23rd June 2024

The St Giles Animal Welfare 30 miles / 8 miles fundraising bike ride will take place on Sunday, 23rd June, 2024, starting at 10.30/11 am (registration at 10 am) from Stoke St Gregory Pavilion, TA3 6EQ

The exciting challenge sees bike enthusiasts of all ages take on a breathtaking 30 mile course across the wonderful Somerset countryside. There is also a fun, family-friendly 8 mile course.

St Giles Animal Welfare are organising this event to raise funds for all the rescue dogs and cats in our care and a large portion of all funds raised will go directly to supporting the welfare and animals in need. We help dogs and cats in our area to find their forever homes and receive the treatment they desperately need.

There is a choice of two routes to suit your ability and registration for both will start at 10am, ready to ride for 10.30am/11am

Family Fun Ride – 8 miles: This shorter fun ride is ideal for a range of abilities. This route takes you through Stoke St Gregory, towards Burrowbridge. This picturesque ride is particularly rural and takes you along the beautiful river banks. Ride starts at 11am.

Longer Ride – 30 miles:  This route starts in Stoke St Gregory and then takes you out towards Langport, through Muchelney, towards South Petherton and the final leg brings you back into North Curry past St Giles Animal Centre. Ride starts at 11am.
