Xena is a lovely girl who has arrived to us as a stray via the Dog Warden who had collected her from a local vets. Due to Xena being a stray, we unfortunately do not know about her history but she is settling in the kennel environment well.
Xena is finding the kennel environment quite worrying at the moment as she is still adjusting, she is quite worried in the kennel but as soon as she comes out to the enrichment garden or for a little wonder she perks up in confidence and becomes very affectionate with her handler.
After doing thorough assessment with Xena, we are looking for her to be the only animal in the home, as she is worried by other dogs. She is an absolute sweetheart that needs her forever home where she can continue to thrive. She can be a little strong on lead at times but we are working on this with her. Xena could potentially live with children of 16+ years pending suitable meet and greets at the centre.
