Tommi is a handsome dachshund cross, possibly with a little spaniel in him. He came to us as a stray and he is finding the kennel environment a little frightening so we are really hoping his forever home will be found very soon.
We do believe that he has led quite a sheltered life, but he is young so is still learning to navigate the big wide world and would benefit from a patient owner who has lots of time to give him whilst he settles into his new home.
Tommi seems to really perk up when he meets another dog when out on walks, so it would be great if he could share his home with another young dog to give him the confidence boost he needs, but we are unable to test how he would be around cats or young children, so a home without either would be best for him.
As he was found as a stray, we do not know his background and are unsure how he will react once in a home, but he is a real sweetheart and would make a wonderful companion once he has learnt to trust his new owner.
It would be best if his owner is home most of the time and also has the time to do basic training and socialisation with him, such as walking happily on the lead so he can slowly get used to different situations and the environment around him.

Could you offer our lovely long legged Daxi a loving home?
