Teddy is a very sweet young boy who is looking for a new home with another dog who will be a companion and playmate for him. He has always lived with other dogs, so it is important that he shares his new home with another young dog. He currently shares his kennel with his daughter Baby who is also looking for a new home and could be rehomed together if you have the space for both of them?
He is friendly and affectionate once he gets to know you and would benefit from puppy socialisation classes once settled into a new home so he can be introduced to the outside world gradually. He is learning how to walk better on the lead and, we are sure that once he gets to know you, he will become a loving companion and wonderful member of your family.
He has lived in a home with children before, so we believe that he would thrive in a home with children aged 10yrs and upwards who have experience with dogs. He is not good with cats though!
Teddy is crate trained and house trained, but is not used to travelling in the car, so this will need to be built up gradually. He will need to be given time to settle into his new home and his owners will need to be home most of the day.
As you can see, he has had her coat clipped and this will need to be done regularly in order to keep his coat in good condition. We are rehoming Teddy on behalf of the RSPCA SE Somerset Branch.
Weight: 10kg
Can you give Teddy a new home (with Baby if possible) ?
