Siren is a handsome Husky x who is looking for an experienced, understanding home where he can start to discover all that life has to offer.
Siren came into our care as a stray, so unfortunately we know very little about his past. What we do know is that he is a very sweet boy with a lovely nature, although he can be a little nosy and likes to know exactly what everyone is up to! As he doesn’t appear to have seen much of the world, his new family will need to be patient and give him plenty of time to experience new things at his own pace.
Siren will need owners who understand the breed and are prepared for the exercise, enrichment, training and companionship that comes with owning one. He would benefit from having his owners around for most of the time initially, helping him to settle into his new surroundings and build his confidence before gradually introducing any time left alone.
We feel Siren would be happy as the only dog in the home. We are currently assessing his suitability for living with another dog, so this may be something we can consider in the future depending on how he progresses.
We would recommend a home with children aged 14 years and over, as younger children may be a little too much for him while he is settling in. We are unable to cat test Siren at the centre and, as he came to us as a stray with an unknown history, we would recommend a cat-free home.
Siren has so much potential and is a genuinely lovely boy. We think he will really blossom once he has the chance to settle into a home, build a bond with his people and experience the world at his own pace.
