Rory is a timid, but sweet boy who is looking for his new forever home after being abandoned by his previous owner. He does takes a bit of time to trust people at first, but once he gets to know you (which doesn’t take long), he is very friendly and affectionate.
Rory can find the company of other dogs challenging, so we are currently working on this and are making positive progress so far. Unfortunately we do not know anything about his previous life, so are unsure how he will behave once in a new home.
Dogs: we are currently working with him around other dogs, but initial assessments suggest that he needs to be the only dog in the home.
Cats: we are unsure on how Rory is with cats.
Children: as we don’t know if Rory has previously been around children, it would be best if any in the home are over 14 years of age.
How long can the dog be left: he would need an owner who will be at home initially most of the time, and gradually get him used to being on his own for longer periods of time.
How do they walk on lead: Rory does have positive aspects on lead and can walk nicely but needs a little further guidance as he can be strong at times.
