Name: Levi
Breed: Bulldog X
Age: 20/06/2023
Levi arrived to us as a stray recently and has settled in ok but would love to be in his forever home. Levi is finding it stressful in the kennel environment at the moment so we are giving him lots of brain stimulation and time out of the kennel to make things as positive as possible for him.
Dog Friendly: We are continuing his dog socialisation here at the Welfare but what we have seen so far is that Levi seems to have not been socialised much in his life prior to rescue and is still learning canine communication.
Cat Friendly: We have not seen him with cats at all.
Small Animal Friendly: ? Can’t assess this at the centre
Has been around Children: ? We haven’t been able to assess this but we believe he would prefer to be in an adult only home.
Crate Trained: We have not done any crate training here with Levi as of yet but we feel he may potentially benefit from having one in the home environment but not necessary.
How long can the dog be left without issue: He seems to be doing well here currently but the kennels here can be stressful. He would love a home with someone who can continue building on his time alone training and continuing his adventures in the big wide world.
How do they walk on lead: We are continuing to work on this lead training
Any reactive behaviour seen: Levi can get a little overstimulated at times and can become a bit bouncy but we are working on his training with this.
What are they fed: A mixture of wet and dry food twice a day with a lunchtime enrichment.
Weight: 23.7kg
