Jack is a timid, but lovely boy who is looking for a new home with an energetic owner who has the time and patience to spend giving him the attention he needs.
He was brought into the Centre as a stray, so we don’t know anything his past, but we do believe that he is house trained as is clean in the kennels. He can be wary at first, but is also excitable when meeting new people.
Dogs: he is wary around other dogs, so we are continuing to work on his socialisation but with time, we are sure that he will become less anxious towards other dogs.
Cats: it would be best if there are no cats in the home.
Children: Jack is a very sweet lad, but can be timid so could potentially live with children of 14+ years pending suitable meets at the centre.
How long can the dog be left without issue: we are unsure how he will react in a home when left, so an owner will need to build time left on his own gradually.
How do they walk on lead: he walks well on lead on his harness but can pull at times coming out of the kennel due to excitement but not with too much strength and does listen to handlers.
