Bear is a beautiful gentle and affectionate Dogue de Bordeaux (DDB) who is looking for her forever home, and we are rehoming her on behalf of the RSPCA South East Branch. She is currently in a foster home where she is settling in beautifully and is progressing really well, so is now ready to find her forever home.
Bear is house trained, loves travelling in the car and is happy to be left on her own for a few hours during the day, she also happily sleeps downstairs overnight. She loves playing with her toys and having zoomies in the home, but will then settle down for another nap!
We don’t know what she is like with children, so it would be best if any in the home are over 16 years of age. We also believe that she has been mistreated by men in the past as she is nervous of them and will cower away if approached, but is fine once she learns to trust them.
She has met a few other dogs whilst in her foster home and, although it has mainly been positive, we feel that she would be best as the only pet in the home so she can have all your attention.
Bear is incredibly friendly, and absolutely adores attention. She’s happiest when she’s around people and thrives on love and companionship. Whether it’s a cuddle on the sofa or just being near you, Bear is sure to make a wonderful addition to your family.
