Jasper and Sheba are really sweet friendly dogs who were abandoned by their owner, and are now looking for a new home together with experienced owners who have the time to give them the love and attention they crave!
On arrival, they were nervous and did not want to engage with us, they were quite shut down and needed a few days to decompress and learn how to trust the staff here at the Centre. Since then their confidence has grown, Jasper more so than Sheba, but we are sure that, once settled, they will both continue to grow and make your family complete.
Jasper and Sheba have experienced a lot of change recently and will need someone who can keep to a routine and give them the time needed to help them settle into a new environment.
They are very bonded and love to play in our paddocks together and even share a bed in their kennel. Sheba is a little more wary of new people and she does rely on Jasper so, although this is a big ask, we would love to find them a new home together!
Jasper and Sheba can both be a little timid around new people, so it would be best if they are in an adult only home without other pets, so they can have all the attention. They do enjoy the simple things in life and walk well on the lead together. They are getting used to other dogs but will need continued socialisation around them, and we are unsure how they will react towards cats.
Due to their slightly reserved nature when they first meet new people and our lack of knowledge about their past experiences, we are looking for an adult-only home as they only pets in the home.
Weight: 28kg (Jasper) and 15kg (Sheba)
If you’re patient, gentle, and looking for a pair of devoted companions, Jasper and Sheba could be your perfect match!
