Meet Sammie, our lovely 9½ year old Labrador
Sammie is a gentle, affectionate girl who is looking for a loving home where she can truly relax and enjoy the comfort she deserves. She’s a real people orientated dog and she’s super eager to please!
She hasn’t experienced much of the wider world, so some things may still feel a little new to her. Sammie has a calm but playful nature, and enjoys exploring at her own pace. She’s now looking for a patient, understanding owner who can continue to build her confidence and help her settle into home life.
Sammie could live happily as the only dog in the home, or with another similar-sized dog, pending successful meets here at the centre.
She would really benefit from a home where someone is around for much of the day, helping her feel safe and supported as she adjusts to her new surroundings.
Sammie could live with older children aged 10+ who are used to being around dogs and can respect her gentle nature. We don’t know whether she has previously lived with cats, so a cat-free home would be best suited.
We are rehoming Sammie on behalf of the RSPCA SE Somerset Branch.
Weight: Approximately 20kg
Sammie is a sweet, easy-going girl with so much love to give. Could you be the one to offer her the calm, caring home she’s been waiting for?
