Poppy is a lively affectionate girl who is looking for a loving home where she can finally enjoy the comfort and companionship she deserves. She’s a real people-lover and thrives on being close to those she trusts, making her a wonderful companion.
She hasn’t had much experience of the wider world, so lots of everyday things are still quite new to her. Despite being a little older, Poppy has an abundance of energy and still enjoys a good bounce around. She’s now looking for a patient, understanding owner who can introduce her to new experiences at her own pace and help her build confidence.
Poppy really enjoys the company of other dogs, and it would be great if she could share her new home with another dog who can help her settle and provide companionship. She does need an owner who is around most of the day, and will help her feel safe and supported as she adjusts to her new surroundings.
Poppy could live with older children aged 12+ who are used to being around playful dogs. We don’t know whether Poppy has previously lived with cats, so a cat-free home would suit her best. She will need mental as well as physical stimulation and would suit an owner who is interested in scent work or Hoopers to keep her from becoming bored.
We are rehoming Poppy on behalf of the RSPCA SE Somerset Branch.
Weight: Approximately 20kg
