Esme is a gorgeous young Staffie cross we are rehoming on behalf of the RSPCA SE Somerset branch.
We don’t know a great deal about Esme’s life before coming into our care, other than that at just two years old she had already had a litter of puppies. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but this sweet girl is slowly finding her confidence and her playful, affectionate personality is beginning to shine through.
Esme would love a home where she can enjoy plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, with owners who are around for much of the day while she settles in. She walks beautifully on the lead and has shown lovely interactions with other dogs at the centre, so we feel she could live with another similar-sized playful dog, pending successful meets here.
She is only a little girl at 10.2kg, and while we’re not entirely sure what she is crossed with, she is roughly small spaniel sized. As Esme can be slightly shy at first, a calmer home environment would suit her best, with children aged 10 and over. We do not know whether Esme has lived with cats before.
