Clover is a really sweet but girl who has had a very sad life up to now after being used for breeding most of her life, so she is now looking for her forever home with a patient understanding owner who can help her overcome her fears, and give her the life she has never had before.
Clover has never experienced a loving home and was quite shut down when she first arrived, but since being in a foster home she has really started to come out of her shell and is now starting to enjoy a ‘normal’ life.
Her foster home has told us that after the initial few days of howling, Clover now sleeps peacefully throughout the night in the same room as their own dog and is very waggy tailed to see them in the morning. She loves her food and she is happy to be groomed, she has started going out for short walks but, once more confident, will require long sniffy walks, and she can be left with their other dog for a couple of hours.
Although she can be wary with people at first, Clover does love human contact and would be ok to live with children over 10 years old. She is a very sweet gentle dog, easy to live with and even easier to love!
She does seek reassurance from her canine companions, so a playful canine friend who is already in the home is a must for her in order to continue to help build her confidence and guide her.
Clover will need an owner who is used to looking after puppy farm dogs and has the patience and time to settle her, she has only known the puppy farm environment, so will take time to feel safe and secure.
Are you that special person who can give Clover a chance to find happiness in life?
