Bacca is an absolute sweetheart who just loves to be made a fuss of and is a favourite amongst our staff and volunteers at the Centre. He is a very unique looking boy who we think may be crossed between a Basset hound and a Dachshund, but you’d have to come and meet him to see what you think, as his photo doesn’t do him justice!
He was brought into us after being found as a stray and was quite bewildered at first, but has since grown in confidence and is always happy to greet everyone he meets when out on his walks. However, he is becoming quite depressed in the kennel environment and we would love to find him a new home as soon as we can.
Although he has previously been good with other dogs, Bacca has recently become quite worried around other dogs, so he will need an owner who can reassure him and understand that it will take time and on-going socialisation to help him become more comfortable around other dogs again.
We think that it would be best if Bacca is the only pet in the home but, due to his friendly sweet nature, we believe that he would be fine to share his home with children aged 10 years +.
At 18 months old, he’s still only young, so we’re looking for someone who’s willing to train him to be the perfect dog that he’s showing the potential to be!
Weight: 13kg
Do you think you could offer Bacca another chance to find happiness in life?
