Baby is a very sweet but timid young girl who is looking for a new home with another dog who will help build up her confidence and be a playmate for her. She has always lived with other dogs, so it is important that she shares her new home with another young dog. She currently shares her kennel with her father Teddy who is also looking for a new home and could be rehomed together if you have the space for both of them?
She is friendly and affectionate once she gets to know you and would benefit from puppy socialisation classes once settled into a new home so she can be introduced to the outside world gradually. She is learning how to walk better on the lead and, we are sure that once she gets to know you, she will become a loving companion.
She has lived in a home with children before, so we believe that she would thrive in a home with children aged 10yrs and upwards who have experience with dogs. She is not good with cats though!
Baby is crate trained and house trained, but is not used to travelling in the car, so this will need to be built up gradually. She will need to be given time to settle into her new home and her owners will need to be home most of the day.
As you can see, she has had her coat clipped and this will need to be done regularly in order to keep her coat in good condition. We are rehoming Baby on behalf of the RSPCA SE Somerset Branch.
Weight: 7kg
Can you give Baby a new home (with Teddy if possible) ?
