Stewie is such a cutie, he is a little shy to begin with, but is very friendly towards people once he gets to know you. He was brought into the Centre as a stray so we don’t know anything about his previous life or how he will react in a home.
He has lots of energy and a zest for life, and can get excited when going out for walks and especially having playtime in our paddocks.
Dog Friendly: we are currently undertaking assessments with other dogs, but so far he reacts well on the lead when meeting other dogs, but we still need to do off lead assessments.
Cat Friendly: we have not been able to test this at the Centre.
Has been around Children: Stewie has a great character and we believe that he could potentially live with children of 10+ years pending suitable meets at the Centre.
How long can the dog be left: due to his unknown background, his new owners will need to allow Stewie to settle into his new home before gradually leaving him on his own for short periods of time, and building this up slowly.
How do they walk on lead: Stewie walks well on lead but can pull at times especially when excited, so he would benefit from lead work and basic obedience training.
Any reactive behaviour: No reactive behaviour seen currently.
Weight: 9kg
Can you offer this special boy a new loving home?
